Baseball is BACK and we couldn’t be more excited. The name of our hometown Mariners’ stadium may have changed, but a few things haven’t – namely, those classic ballpark eats we all associate with the game.
Whether you’re watching a major league game at your house or hosting your kid’s youth team for a backyard barbecue, these stadium-worthy recipes will make you feel like you’re spending your afternoon at the ballpark.
Authentic Ballpark Hot Dog – As the official hot dog of the Seattle Mariners, of course we have to mention this. We love a good ‘dog in our hand at the ballpark – but did you know you can get the exact same authentic beef frank from your local grocery store? Find the closest location using our online product locator!
Bacon-Peanut Caramel Corn – What’s a more traditional ballpark snack than peanuts and Cracker Jack? Well…this improves upon the original with our favorite ingredient – bacon! Make this with Fletcher’s Maple Flavor Bacon or our original Dry Cure Bacon!
Pretzel with Cheese, Bacon, and Beer Dip – Make your own or purchase pre-made pretzels, and dip them in this warm and flavorful cheese dip. You’ll never go back to plain ol’ cheese dip again!
Garlic Fries – Just the aroma will make you feel like you’re in the stadium. These are easy to make at home since they’re oven-baked, and may we humbly suggest a teeny little upgrade? Top the whole batch with cooked, crumbled bacon for an extra layer of delicious flavor.
Pulled Pork Nachos – Make this pulled pork with a secret ingredient (hint: it’s bacon) and use it as a topping for nachos. Who doesn’t love this ballpark food? We think it would be great with the cheese, bacon and beef dip from the previous recipe!
We love the game, but we also love the food. For BOTH reasons we’re really looking forward to this year’s baseball season. What do you love most about baseball?
Go Mariners!
